We’re starting on Friday 16th around the fire, gathered and hosting one of our favourite musicians, and incredible song carrier from the British Isles, Sam Lee, for Winter Solstice. Join us for an epic feast around our long tables and settle in to listen to the native folk music that’s woven into our very history.
Join us for a one day immersion learning plant spirit connection practises, alchemy and medicine making with Charlotte Pulver. This is a very special Yule focused Medicine Making Day, working with the Mistletoe plant in discovering its’ incredible healing benefits and ways. This will be a highly informative, transformational and joyous day!
Come and learn the ancient craft of Felt making and create your own felted medicine pouch from sheep's wool! Using the wet felting technique to shrink the wool fibers you will learn to felt around a resist to create a wonderful 3D form and make the small wool pouch. We will add simple embroidery on to the pouch while we can set our intention and prayers for what we wish it to hold.
Stay at the garden in one of our bespoke cabins or 18th century barn conversions, see our beautiful spaces here and email hello@apothecarygarden.co.uk for availability and booking.
Weather permitting, there will be an outdoor fire - you may like to bring something to sit on outside.
On the Winter Solstice tide we’re holding a weekend of music, medicine and making with some wonderful practitioners, musicians and makers.
The sun that nourishes us and brings life will soon be growing again from it’s deepest point of darkness. With this brings a moment rich in symbolism and power. We’re in the longest and darkest of nights - it’s endings and beginnings, gathering and reflecting, illumination and traditionally and ancestrally a time of great celebration!
We have a lift share service in place with fellow attendees due to the train strikes. to see if anyone is driving from your area and could give you a lift which would mean you can attend, email hello@apothecarygrden.co.uk
